friday’s dope house (fdh) is the headquarters for friday’s dope llc, a visionary arts, media, and entertainment company. fdh is a home-inspired immersive space for intimate, elevated artistic experiences, creative co-working, and restorative fellowship based in charlotte, nc.
friday's dope was founded in 2021 by friday jones, an a.rtist c.reative e.ntrepreneur who coined the term ace to describe her comprehensive professional experience. in addition to creating inspirational art, friday's dope helps fellow aces elevate their brand experience through digital tools, online resources, and aligned community.
in the fall of 2023, friday's dope found a home at the vapa center. fdh is honored to join the largest artist collective in the united states with over 350 artists in the building! when you visit fdh, you are encouraged to visit the other incredible studios and experience art-in-process.
as your host, please note the vapa center has clear policies on the following:
please use the proper entrance (college street) and exit (montford point) for the building — there are signs to guide you. also, if the front lot is full, there is free parking across college street.
there are no weapons of any kind allowed on the premises.
there are no drugs, smoking, or vaping allowed on the premises. (12’s on site)
please do not touch the art.
please abide, don’t kill the vibe:
no art shaming. we are here to appreciate each other's unique vibe, expertise, and experience. no one arts the same.
masks and social distancing are still okay. do what makes you feel safe. we will have masks and hand sani available.
respect each other as humans. let's treat one another with kindness and compassion.
respect the space. this is a true labor of love, please respect the equipment, furniture, and décor.
